WHY ELECTRONICS CAN'T GO IN SEATTLE TRASH
Washington State's Electronics Recycling Law (RCW 70.95N) prohibits disposing of computers, monitors, TVs, and printers in regular garbage. They contain lead, mercury, cadmium, and other hazardous materials requiring certified recycling. E-Cycle Washington is the state program for proper disposal — all electronics we collect go to E-Cycle certified facilities.
