A hot tub weighs 400–800 pounds dry — more with residual water. It almost always lives on a deck, often with limited access. It can't be moved in one piece. It requires power-tool disassembly, careful maneuvering through gates and down stairs, and specialized equipment to load safely. Most Seattle junk removal companies will refuse it, vague-quote it, or add surprise surcharges when they arrive.

Connect a garden hose to the drain valve near the equipment panel and let it run to a yard area or drain. A drained tub saves significant time and keeps your price lower. If you can't drain it, we handle it for an added $75–$100.
We assess the path from the tub to the truck — deck height, gate width, stair configuration, distance to the street. This is already in our flat-rate quote from your photo.
We cut the shell into sections using reciprocating and circular saws — acrylic shell, foam insulation, wooden cabinet, mechanical components are separated. Typically 45–90 minutes.
Metal components (pump, heater) go to Seattle metal recyclers. Foam insulation goes to landfill (not recyclable). Acrylic shell and wooden frame processed at Seattle disposal facilities.
